Together we can establish Oregon’s first permanent, culturally specific preschool designed for children of African immigrants.
$3.2 Million Campaign Goal
The next $200,000 will complete construction and renovation of the preschool building.

Meeting a Community Need
- Add 40 new full-time preschool openings.
- Reach immigrant and refugee families facing cultural barriers.
- Support working families with free, full-day programming.
- Create professional training opportunities for parents.
- Establish a strong model for replication.
A new preschool will increase the number of children and families served by CAIRO and provide greater access to high quality education and programming.
Options for Campaign Donations and Pledges
All individual campaign contributors of $200 or more, or business contributions of $1,000 or more, will be permanently recognized on the CAIRO Academy donor tribute wall inside the new school.
